Landowners gear up for fight against landfill sites A group of landowners who live on or around a potential landfill site on Highway 7A just west of Blackstock is gearing up to fight the "We are working to get the sites off the long list. The sites were identified by the IWA as YY2 and YY3 and are made up of about 300 acres.of bush and farmland on the south side of Highway 7A, immediately to the east of the Cartwright West Quarter Line. Working with the Zero Garbage group, Mrs. Taylor said © committees have been formed to prepare briefs for presentation to the IWA by early August.
