Coaches are Hospital recycling As a health-care provider, Community Memorial Hospital, Port Perry, has always been conscious of the environment. Concerns for both present and future environmental issues are a major focus for all the staff at the hospital. Our recycling program has been in place since April 1992. In the first 9 months, Community Memorial Hospital has recycled the following: Cans - 3,300 Ibs., Fine Paper 4,500 lbs. Newspaper/Magazines 2,500 lbs., Corrugated boxes 6,500 Ibs.. That means a total of 16,800 Ibs has been diverted from landfill.
