With seconds to go Monsma pulled out the 2 points as Murray Down from Greg Gibson, and Gibson from Chester Down rounded out the scoring. The two teams unable to advance into the playoffs went head to head next with Framers coming out victorious on'a 3-2 count. Keith Dalton netted one from the Framer's assisted by Eric Kristensen and Stephen Kristensen. It was tied soon after when James Hudgins replied for Emerson's on a solo effort before the first period had ended. Emerson's pulled ahead shortly into the second half when Les Allen set up Len Gagnon. This was short lived as Framer's again tied the score on a goal from Terry Black aided by Jim Weir. From there Weir potted one of his With the shut-out still intact, all the defensemen, Miranda Small, Leanne Morgan, Julie Kennedy and Jaime Bethune, were playing ha¥d for their rookie goalie to see if they could record another shut-out for her again. As usual Julie Kennedy was a real spark plug out there doing what she does best, forcing the opposition into untimely turnovers. With the game winding down and both teams having their chances, Linsey Ingram took control deep in the Manvers zone and she fired a nice lead pass up to Leanne Morgan who put a nice pass in the slot for Jen Dingman who let one "rip" to make the back of the net bulge to make the score 7-0. The horn sounded to end the game. The team surrounded their rookie goalie and started the celebration as this was their second shut-out of the season. In goal for Manvers was Michele Branton.
