Lost in the blaze were two dogs, a cat and two guinea pigs after the fire raced through the century old house on Marsh Hill Road, about two km north of Epsom Scugog Deputy Chief Richard Miller said the blaze started in the kitchen, apparently after a pot of cooking oil had been left on the stove.
