The tournament went off perfectly and most games were decided by just one goal. The Consolation Final was won by Wexford over Uxbridge in double overtime while Port Hope edged out Orangeville in overtime in the Championship Final. Port Perry's team overcame a sluggish first half of their opening match against their rivals from Uxbridge to steal an overtime win by a 3-2 margin thanks to Mike Wiseman's winner after he stole the puck behind the Uxbridge goal and swooped in front to capture our victory. Regulation time goals were by Adam Moynes from Trevor Weisflock and Mike Milligan Atom House League Whitby Auto Wreckers and Lion's Club have played fast, clean and exciting games all year and this one was no exception. Twice, however, our squad fought | back from 1 goal deficits to finish tied at two, after 30 minutes of play. Scoring for the Auctions team was Jeff Tarbotton from Mike Wiseman and centre Trevor Lance while Adam Moynes scored unassisted as his shot from the top of the circle trickled through the goalie's pads.
