The Port Perry Eagles are back again for another season and the two other teams are the Greenbank Gamblers and the Port Perry Midget Merchants. For the Gamblers, it's a return to this League after two controversial seasons with the Peterborough City Loop, and Gamblefgganager Rodd Foster is excited about the prospects "I think this League will be very competitve this season," he told the Citizen. Gamblers won the Peterborough Crown last fall, but the club was extremely disappointed in a League ruling which meant the team did not have any playoffs on its home diamond in Greenbank. He'll join southpaw Mark Goreski to give the team a strong one-two punch from both sides of the rubber. Ken Goreski is returning as head coach and Don Phinney will work as assistant coach this season.
