Foote will once again be offering a summer workshop series on the art and aspects of acting. Foote's workshops have become quite popular, as they offer a positive introduction to the theatre. "It's not an easy thing to get up on a stage to portray a character," he explains, "perhaps these sessions will encourage potential actors- actresses to become. more involved in theatre." This session will be slightly . different, as acting students will work with beginner directors, all supervised by Foote. "Mére work from a script is what I want to do, to place the actor's in a production atmosphere in order to give them a clear idea of what both acting and being in a play is all about," explains Foote. Foote will accept thirty actors/actresses, and is looking for five directors. The workshop begins Tuesday, June 8 at 7:30 in the Masonic Hall, running till July 13. Cost for the session' is $60.00, open to all interested aged 13-80. To register you must call 985:0611.
