Thirty-three students graduated from grade eight at the Immaculate Conception Catholic School last Thursday evening. Throughout the evening awardg were given to the following students. Business about upcoming events was discussed at the beginning of the meeting. Later in the evening, the seniors accompanied leader Roger Holtby and learned about the reproductive tract of the cow. The junior members, under the leadership of Earl Phoenix, judged a group of two year old heifers. Later the two groups switched, each one accompanied with a leader. The official placings were announced and many of us found out we need to learn a lot more about judging cattle! After the meeting was adjourned donuts and ts were supplied.
