Man charged with murder - body found near Scugog A 33-year old Oshawa man has been charged with first degree murder after the body of his common law wif# found late Monday aftérficon in a secluded «fed just south of the Qehfiwa-Scugog Town Line (Coates Rd.) east of Durham 2 Staff Sgt. Sandy Ryrie said the body of 26 year old Rose Marie Finley of Cordova Road, Oshawa was discovered about 4:30 PM Monday by Durham Police officers Donald James Morrow, 33 of the same address was arrested by Durham Police and charged with first degree murder. He had reported the woman missing early Sunday morning after she failed to return home from a Saturday afternoon shopping trip at the Oshawa Contre. Morrow was to make an initial appearance in Oshawa Court Tuesday morning Late Monday evening police were making no comments about the cause of death or how long the woman's body had been in the location near Russell Road, less than kilometre south of the Town Line The body was removed from the scene Monday night for a post-mortem Tuesday Police said that Morrow had been assisting police in their investigation into the woman's disappearance until he was charged Monday night.
