Sandy Mark tops field Sandy Mark fired a fine 76 to win the 1993 Junior championship held recently at Crestwood Golf Club. Runner up was Robert Hanna. In the girls division, Laurie Krahl took the low gross with Chris Currie winning the net prize. Crestwood continues to be a popular place for outside events. On August 20, 61 golfers from four neighbouring clubs enjoyed the most recent tour stop Harvey Duxbury from Lindsay GC placed first followed by Dave Collins of Tamarac. In the net division, Rein Harmatare of Crestwood was first and Reg English from West Trent came second. In the skins Crestwood's George Jacob took two of four skins Tamarac GC formed this senior tour this springsby inviting players from Western Trent, Lindsay, Eganridge and Crestwood for 18 holes of golf and a lunch program. The five clubs have taken turns hosting the event final date slated for September at Evanridge.
