"Say What? you say. The 3rd Annual Scugog. Firefighters Walleye Tournament starts at 12:01 a.m. February 6, and runs until February 6, ai noon. This year there are some exciting changes. Included in the changes is a weigh station in Port Perry to go along with the Caesarea weigh station. Another change is a reduction in ticket price for youth 16 and under. This special ticket price will be $5.00. A list of rules and regulations will be posted at each weigh station. But, in brief, | would like to pass on some of the most important ones! 1. Tickets must be purchased Pe Wor HEY WILSON , How DID ou LIKE THAT POWER PLAY GOAL WE GoT TONIGHT Ne " _ 3. Personnel at the weigh station have the right to reject any fish for any reason. 4. Walleye over 1lb. are the only fish eligible to basntered. 6. Fishing boundaries are limited to Lake Scugog. For the complete list, stop by the weigh station. Prizes will be awarded as follows: 1st will receive 50% of the anglers share of the cash, 2nd 256%, 3rd 16% and 10% will go to the heaviest fish entered in the tournament. The top three prizes will be determined by the total weight of all fish that entered up to 12 fish whieh means that you can enter 6 Saturday and 6 Sunday. Available to be won is a hidden weight prize that anyone can win by simply entering a fish. There are also three prizes to be won simply by entering the tournament. And last but not lenst is the junior division with a first and second prize available. In previous years = have been able to donate hundreds of dollars to local charities and it is hoped that this year will be even more of a success. Awards will be presented at the Caesarea Community Hall at 1:00 p.m. Sunday February §. All are welcome to attend. An in on is extended by the Caesarea Hall Board to partake in a brunch from 11:00 am. to 2:00 p.m. All procedds from the brunch will go to charity. Wreckers still undefeated * A lightning quick start and a complete team effort helped the Whitby Auto Wreckers continue a league leading undefeated streak. Paced by Beau Jolicosurs hat trick and some strong backchecking by all the forwards the Wreckers nailed down a solid 10-1 victory. After two fast goals less than two minutes in by Jolicoer and Ian Bonser the team settled into a full effort. The period ended with a last second goal by Mathew Tillart. OR MY Gus PRAING.
