Walk on Sunday If you are taking part in the first ever Walk-a-thon this Sunday afternoon (May 15) here are few reminders from organizer Maggie McDonald. Operation Bcugog volunteers will be in Palmer Park at 1:00 PM to take registrations. Bring pledge shesis so amounts can be recorded pledges should be collected and returned to Maggie by May 24 prizes will be presented to those with the most pledges after the money is collected and recorded. These are a $100 gift certificate from Settlement House, pair of Jays tickets from Paul's Plumbing Services; $50 certificate from Murray House Spirit of Peace t-shirt from Michell Baptiste of Unity Concepts, Roosters Dinner for two from Pizza Delight; gift certificate from Strawberry Threads Along the 10 KM course, there will be washrooms at the Reform Church, Prince Albert, and the Immaculate Conception Hall on Highway 7A.
