But first the Rebels had to finish in the top three of a four- team LOSSA final held Tuesday in Port Perry. And that was anything but easy as they had come from behind to defeat a determined and gritty squad from Whitby Henry Street 18-12 in the tournament opener. In the LOSSA championship game against Pickering Tuesday afternoon, the Rebels came up flat for just about the first time this season and were handed a thumping 23-3 defeat, their first loss of this season. Still, it was enough to advance to the DYSSA final round to be played at the Soccer Fields in Port Perry this Friday Rebels head coach Brian Armstrong said that for the DYSSA final on Friday, there will be four Durham schools and one from York Region. The games get underway in the morning with the senior final slated for a start of about 12:30 PM.
