Ashburn Moms and Tots is a unique program for pre- schoolers established more than a decade ago by a small group of mothers looking for a relaxed, friendly way to get together once a week and have their kids enjoy many activities such as field trips, songs, crafts and play. They meet every Thursday morning from September to June, Moms and Tots is a non profit organization which receives no government funds, but lots of support from local businesses and service clubs in the Ashburn area. The group also does fund- raising on its own to purchase supplies for crafts and for the kids' snacks. The group also supports various groups that help mothers and their children in Durham Region.
