Changes to the ward boundaries will be in effect when Scugog voters go to the polls in the November 14 municipal elections. The area council seat (elected at large from across the Township) has been eliminated and replaced with a new Ward 5. Ward 5 boundaries are as follows: Queen Street on the south, the Lake Scugog shoreline on the east, Whitfield Road on the north and a westerly line that runs north and south and starts just west of the Beer Store.
