A report from the municipal building department shows 26 permits issued in April with a 'value of $589,000, Last April there were 17 permits worth just over $460,000. : However, the value of permits issued in the first four months of this year (Jan. to April).is lagging behind the figure for 1994. So far this year, the value of permits issued is $1.2 million, compared with $1.4 million a year ago.
