For example, ground level ozone (ie. smog from car exhaust) contributes to "decreased lung function and other respiratory problems in humans". Any death by whatever cause i regrettable and a sorrow, but we must put our limited and diminishing resources where they will help the greatest proportion of society; not into the creation of a bureaucratic program of questionable merit - the Auditor General wants government to access what it already has before it introduces anymore costly gun control measures. Even Mr. Rock can give no guarantees that what he is proposing will stop the loss of life through the use of firearms: "I think it will help. (But) I don't want to overstate it.
