A statement issued by Durham Police early Saturday morning said the deaths goccurred some time between 7:30 PM last Thursday and 10:00 PM Friday. The statement said 57-year old Bryce Ashmore murdered his common-law wife of ten years, Freda Willie, aged 51, then took his own life.
