Wednesday, May 24, 1995 \ ve wy" 4--Scugog Citizen ~ A seven pound 11 ounce lunker that measures 28.5 inches is the largest fish entered last week in the pickerel category of the Scugog Citizen Summer 'Big Fish Derby. Ray Desautels of Seagrave entered this one and wins a gift voucher worth $50. And until somebody enters a larger pickerel over the summer, Ray's in line for the Big Fish cash prize at the end of the Derby in September. Second largest pickerel this past week was six pounds, 9 ounces and 27 inghes long. This one was entered by Geoff Doggett of Port Perry. There is still time to enter the muskie category. But remember, with the muskie season opening June 3, you MUST be registered by June 2. Same rules apply to large and small mouth bass. With the season to open on June 24, you MUST be registered for bass by June 23. Registration for adults is $10 per category.
