. « 4 -- Scugog Citizen -- Tu =z ww y, June 13, 1995 Council turns down request for licenced patio during Festival Days this summer Scugog council has turned down a request from a Queen Street restaurant to have a licenced patio during the Chamber of Commerce Festival Days in mid-July. The request was submitted by the Sisters Galley who wanted to set up the 30 by 15 fenced patio at the rear of the restaurant. "I don't think this is a good idea, the police and fire department don't think this is a good idea," said Mayor Howard Hall as council voted unanimously to reject the request for the patio. The Chamber of Commerce has decided that for this years Festival Days celebrations, outdoor patios on Queeri Street in front of Sisters Galley and Emiel's Place will not be permitted.
