Double winner in Fish Derby Ron McCabe of Lindsay came away a "double winner" last week in the Scugog Citizen Big Fish Summer Derby. Ron won for the large mouth bass category with a fish measuring 20 inches in length. And he also took the weekly prize for small mouth bass with an entry of 18 inches. This is the first time"since the Derby started that one person has snagged two prizes the same week. Nice going, Ron. There were no entries last week for muskie (weather too hot, maybe) but in the pickerel category, Jerry Fowler of Caesarea took top honours with a fish measuring 24 inches. The weekly winners in each fish category receive a gift voucher with a $50 value at any of the businesses that help sponsor this Derby. The overall winner at the end of the Darby for the largest fish in each category will receive a cash prize of $250. If you are registered for the Derby, don't forget to enter your fish by 6:00 PM Sunday evening at JD Fishing and Archery, 24 Water St., Port Perry. 7,
