Police say the TV set was was being carried by two young men across Queen Street about 4:15 AM when a Durham cruiser approached. The two fled the scene on foot. The TV set had been stolen from a residence on Mary Street. Also stolen were a second TV set, VCR, portable CD player, all valued at about $2500. CARS STOLEN Police report a 1991 Dodge Spirit was stolen from 'a residence on Sexton Street during the night of July 18. The vehicle is a red, four-door model, licence # 221 AEM. A 1983 Pontiac Le Mans reported stolen the night of July 13 from a parking lot on Water Street was discovered the following morning by police near Greenbank.
