A special ceremony was held at the Stables at Greystone Restaurant recently where officers and members were inducted and installed. The installing officer was Nancy Climie of the Markham Club, ITC. Members from across' Ontario were in attendance to help celebrate the Police report TV RECOVERED Durham Police have recovered a television set stolen in a July 13 break-in, but several other items are still missing. Police say the TV set was was being carried by two young men across Queen Street about 4:15 AM when a Durham cruiser approached. The two fled the scene on foot. The TV set had been stolen from a residence on Mary Street. Also stolen were a second TV set, VCR, portable CD player, all valued at about $2500. CARS STOLEN Police report a 1991 Dodge Spirit was stolen from 'a residence on Sexton Street during the night of July 18. The vehicle is a red, four-door model, licence # 221 AEM. A 1983 Pontiac Le Mans reported stolen the night of July 13 from a parking lot on Water Street was discovered the following morning by police near Greenbank.
