wp" 6 -- Scugog Citizen Tuesday, August 23, 1995 => Plenty on tap for the 130th Blackstock Fair The 130th Blackstock Fair will be held on Saturday, August 26 with the demolition derby on the evening before, August 25. What an accomplishment that this community centred event has been held continuously for that many years! The demolition derby is held at ' the fairgrounds beginning at 7:00 pm and will have three heats followed by the feature. On Fair Day doors open at 9:30 am as well as the Whitehalls midway will be into action Another important section of our fair - the 4H Club Achievement Days will commence at 10:30 am. At' 11:00 am, the colourful parade which will feature floats and decorated entries as well as the DS Ethnic Band and Dale Pdge will arrive at the fairgrounds.David Simser, President of the Ontario Association of Agricultural , Societies will officially open the 1995 Blackstock Fair. The afternoon will be filled with a large variety of activities and features. Entertainment will be provided by the Mundell family and their guests and by Dale Page.
