Since 1990, the Region has presented 11 "Awards of Merit" to deserving organizations. Last year's recipients were DuPont of Canada' Whitby Mental Health Centre and PPG Canada. This year's awards will be presented at Durham Region's third annual Industrial, Commercial and Institutional Waste Reduction Seminar, to be held on November 15, 1995 at the Holiday Inn in Oshawa Award recipients will be selected from two categories.
