Durham Police release sketch of suspect in Island shooting Durham Regional Police have released a description and composite sketch of a suspect wanted in connection with the October 27 shooting of a Scugog Island man. The suspect is described as male, black, in his early 20's, about 5' 7" tall with a' slim build. f The incident began on ,the evening of Friday, October 27 when Fralick's Beach Road resident Michael McCourt answered a knock on the door, and was lured from his home by a man who claimed that his vehicle had run out of gas. As the victim was assisting this man, second suspect, armed with a gun approached him. As the 1.victim attempted to flee he was shot in the lower back. The two suspects fled the scene in what Police describe as.a mini var, dark blue in colour.
