John Robertson of the Chargers scored the first goal unassisted, followed by Bill VanCamp who was assisted by Lee Wilbur. Then Jody Peters was assisted by Randy Prosser and Bill VanCamp. The last goal was scored by Rick Sheehey and assisted by Bill VanCamp and Randy Prosser, ending the game at 4-0, also giving Don Card a shut-out. In game two 'the Fitzgerald Clippers and the Van & Truck World Sharks played each other with similar results to _-game one. The first goal was scored by Doug Smppelsa, assisted by Eddie Olsen and Greg Fitzgerald. Then Barnsie scored with an assist from ' Carl Fitzgerald. Next came Eddie Olsen's goal with an assist from Dave Milton. Then Dave Milton scored two goals to end this game, The first was assisted by Doug Suppelsa and Barnsie and the second goal was assisted by Eddie Olsen and Greg Fitzgerald. The first goal went to Brian Burns of the Hawks and was assisted by Bob Collins. Then Bob Collins scored with assists from Keijo Kinnunen and Steve Groves followed Brian Norton's goal = with assistance from Joe Curran and Brian Burns. Then Jim Fowler of the Roosters scored their first and only with aSsists:from Dave Bourgeois and mark Pghlemann. Next came Steve Groves' goal which was assisted by Keijo Kinnunen. Finally the last goal was scored by John Mackey and was assisted by Tim Ashbridge. The final score was 5-1 for the J&D Carpentry Hawks. In game four the Ball- Callery Senators played the Taylor Aces in the closest game of the day. Ken Little of the Aces scored the first goal with assistance from Wayne Taylor. Then Richie Lefort . Scored with an assist from Ken Little. Fred Moffatt took the next goal which was the first for the Senators with an assist from Marvin Stevenson. Following, Paul Goreski scored a second for the Senators with assists from Mark Degosta and Roger Moase. The next two goals were for the Aces, the first scored by Richie Lefort and assisted by Ken Little and Sean Fewer then the second was scoredby Mark Jobb. and assisted by Richie Lefort and George Gladish. The final score was 4-2 for the Taylor Aces. Game five the the lowest scoring game and was played by the Harrison Flames and the Pineridge Wolves. 3 The first goal was scored by Bill" Bridge of the Flames and assisted by Dave Harrison. Then Rick Hope scored with an assist by Bob Lee for the last foal of the game and of the day. The final score was 2-0 for the Flames with a third shut-out of the day. Despite the very hard effort by all players, we lost both games by one Oak Ridges nipped Goreski's in a defensive battle. Goreski's took the © lead in the second period with a goal by Billy Carr, assisted by John Burnett. Oak Ridges came back a few minutes later scoring to tie it up with goal by Stephen VeHese, assisted by Jason Neves. Scoring the first goal was Adam Lucas assisted by Brad Wood. A lightening uick start and a complete team effort in the second period got us our first to tie it up. An excellent goal by Matt Skerratt assisted by Billy Carr. The third period produced outstanding opportunities by both sides. Gravenhurst's Adam Lucas scored late in the game. With forty-seven seconds left in the game Goreski's came back to score another by lan Garnett, assisted by Billy Carr and Matt McGarry. In overtime Gravenhurst took the win with a goal by Adam Lucas.
