Pineridge Midgets find missing sheet Welcome to week 4, of Pineridge Sports Centre's inaugural season. Way back on November 19, we played in the Ville. Stouffville. The game sheet was just recovered the other day from customs officers in Utica. Sorry for the delay, they were holding the sheet for unknown reasons. We came up on the short end of a 4-3 score, due to a poor. start. We came out flatfooted. We didn't get going until it was too late. Goal scorers were: Captain Clarke, Mic (Darryl), and #99 Jay Strickert who scored a beauty. Geez! Those custom agents should've never returned that sheet. The day after sweeping our home tourney, we traveled to the Bridge. Uxbridge. Kevin G. Ray got us started. A power play goal. He slapped it in the net, short side. Carl Phoenix assisted. Good heads up playing. We were . tied up at one until Carl Phoenix banked it in off of the Uxbridge tender. Was there any doubt? Uxbridge then tied it up once again, this time at two. Mike Phoenix had to leave the gama a little early, after Jason Bonner, Uxbridge's enforcer started a little scrap with our goalie. This isn't allowed, fans. Uxbridge comes to our arena , January 8. Keep your " heads up. Mike was playing tremendous in the { cage before he hit the showers. T.C. Tommy Chambers came through with the game winner, with just over 2 minutes remaining. Nice move Thomas. He's a tank engine. Mike Heasman assisted. This made our unbeaten streak grow to 5 games. Our next game was at the Children's Arena in Oshawa. We were in_good hands, playing right beside fire hall #32. We came out flat-footed in this one, being beat to the puck almost every shift. Our only marker came in the third period off the stick of Kevin Hobbs. Darryl passed it from behind the net, out front to Hobbsy. K.H. made no mistake, and put 'er home, up high. Jeff Clarke also gave a helping hand. Babber played great in goal, on a hot streak. This week's player profile is on Tommy Chambers III. Thomas the Tank Engine wears jersey number 4. Just like Bobby Orr. T.C. does push ups whenever he can to keep in shape. Tom is also a keen cross country runner. Tom is a great leader in the Pineridge Sports Centre Midget Hockey Organization.
