THe conference kick-off will be a Public Forum on Friday evening, January 26, at 7:00 p.m. The public is invited to discuss with a panel of specialists the question "Has organic farming' come of age?" Admission to the public forum is a donation of canned, boxed or packaged food for the Guelph food bank. On Saturday, January 27, the conference will open at 9:30 a.m. with a key-note preseptation by Tom Harding, president of the Organic Crop Improvement Association, who will discuss "THe Organic Challenge Ahead". A series of workshops will take up the remainder of the day. Participants can choose among 16 different workshop topics, ranging from organic production' of shared agriculture.
