Owner David Hillier discovered the break-in when he opened the popular Water Street pub shortly after 8:00 AM Tuesday morning. Thieves had smashed in the two main doors on the west side of the building. They made off with numerous bottles of liquor, cash from the till and the Nevada ticket box, dart boards apd two sets of darts, plus a new 500 watt sound system that includes .two speakers and a mixing board. The thieves apparently made their exit through a crash door on the north side of the building. Mr. Hillier estimated \ the loss in the neighbourhood of $10,000, but said thankfully those responsible did not go on willful damage spree which would have meant shutting down for clean up and repairs. Anyone who may have any information about the break-in and theft should contact Mr. Hillier or Durham Region Police. {RTT in i AS aml TY. - - --- = 3 wele [IE nt Welconie 1996 Sale! |} . ev. v.son oil de 1/3 OFF x 2 @- @:: Q: MEX Mis All Men's & Women's Ng AS Vx eNO, Kids' & Infants' -- COATS L Help us Welcome RS Coordinates 30% OFF i vlad 50% OFF [ifs All Winter Boots Great Savings Kids' & Infants' iH (excluding Sorels) on Or Coats a Ski Suits as nthe sore!
