Then Willy Edwards scored for,a third with Bob Beveridge and Bruce Smith assisting. Finally in the top of the third period Mike Geer of the Chargers managed to score one goal with assists from John Robertson and Steve Churchill. The next two goals scored were by the | Flames' Bob Beveridge who was assisted by Willy Edwards and Bryce Smith, and by Bill Bridge who was assisted by Jim Beatty and John Vaz.
