In the Junior Division, Cartwright had 13 competitors. Joey Lane won gold, two silver, bronze and a fourth. Abby © McLaughlin and Kayla Patry each had silver medals, Taylor Churchill a bronze ahd - Blake McLaughlin funn. . This was certainly a very good showing considering - the team had seven first year wrestlers, said coach Greg Reid. In the Intermediate girls division, Alicia Burgess won a gold medal, Jen Upton took silver and Christa Lane and Spsie Gerrow had bronze. Stephanie Mason came home with a fifth place finish. . The intermediate girls team placed third overall in the tournament with 12 points, just four back of the second placed finisher. al Next year, the teams are looking for more boys and girls to get involved so Cartwright can challenge for the pennant. Mr. Reid congratulated all members of the teams for their fine effort and dedication to the sport.
