The weather looked pretty doubtful, but we set out gaily, minus our Tegu- lar catcher, Jean Harrison, and our second baseman, 'Elma Reesor. On' arriving there, we found that three 'other teams besides ourselves had en- tered; namely, Blackstock, Scugog and Brooklin, Although Brooklin had not yet arrived, the draw was made' which put Scugog against' Blackstock, and Port Perry against 'Brooklin, Scugog and Blackstock played. first, Black- stock being successful, The next game was between Port +Perry boys and Janetville, The Port Perry team won; at least they called it a Port Perry team but it 10oked to us like an all- star team from Ontario County. Still the Brooklin team had not arrived and it looked as if Port Perry would have the bye, The next game played was between 'Blackstock boys and Caes- area. In this game, Caesarea came out on top.
