Three young lady school teachers on on their way to Toronto at 5.30 on July 31st, were injured, one quite ser- jously, when their car turned over in the ditch three miles west of Oak- wood, on the WHhitby-Lindsay high- way. The accident occurred when a rear tire blew out, Miss Martin, of Fene- lon Falls, driver of the car, sustained a bruise on her right leg, but Miss Dorothy Murchison of Fenelon Falls, sustained a fractured collar bone and was rushed the the Ross Memorial Hospital, of Lindsay, Miss Teskey, 17 Linden Avenue, Toronto, another pas- genger in the car, eséaped with some cuts and bruises, The three young ladies left Fenelon Falls and were on their way to write examinations in Toronto which if suc- cessful would improve their standing as teachers.
