The games were played under ideal conditions on the greens of the Whitby Lawn Bowling Club with W. Wilder, of 'Whitby, acting as umpire. The closest game of.the evening was between S. The frame was a see-saw affair from the start with first a very slim lead. However, half way through the game Jeffrey pulled away scoring six in four ends, to lead by -11 to 5.
