Prayer was offered by Mrs. S. McFarlane. Miss Joan Mason read the Scripture lesson. A splendid read- on Ruth and Naomi was given by Miss Mildred Prentice. Miss Ruth Luke gave a reading and Mrs. Ken- nedy gave an inspiring talk about one of our missionaries, Miss Miss Dal- mage. Miss Mary McKague sang "a solo "Little Feet Be Careful". At the close of the meeting a very dainty lunch was served by the hostess. Miss Marguerite Williamson and Miss M. Prentice moved a hearty vote of thanks to Mrs. Blanchard for her kind hospitality. The 'regular meeting of the Ladies' Aid will be held at the home of Mrs. S. McFarlane. The annual fowl supper was held in St. Andrew's Chur¢h on Wednesday evening, October 17th, Many from the surrounding district were present, and enjoyed a delicious fowl supper, fol- lowed by a programme consisting of a play given by the young people of Oakwood. The Misses Richard and Teel entertained between acts. Rev. J. Kennedy acted as chairman. The; congregation appreciated the kindness af those taking part to make the éven- a success. Mrs, M. Milne entertained the Auxiliaries of Wick and Sonya at her home on October 18th. There were 43 ladies present. Mrs. Jas. Brabazon took the chair. The meeting was opened by singing a hymn, Mrs, W. McCully read the Bible lessoft.- Prayer was offered by Mrs. Milne. Mrs, J. F. Brabazon gave a fine report of the Provincial meeting held at, Hamilton.
