MISS GREENBANK RESIGNS Miss Greenbank, teacher, of House- hold Science in Port Perry High School, has received an appointment to the staff of Bolton Ave. School, To- ronto, and has resigned from Port Perry staff. She will be succeeded by Miss Audrey Thomson. We appreciate the excellent work done here by Miss Greenbank, and while we are pleased to see her im- proving her position, we are sorry to lose her from our school staff. We wish her success. CLARA FRISE Entered into rest, after a short ill- ness, the result of a paralytic stroke, on Wednesday, May 8th, Clara Stovin, widow of the late Henry Frise. Deceased was the fourth daughter of the late John and Sarah Stovin. She was born in Reach Township but has spent most of her life in Port Perry. Many years ago she was married to Mr. Henry Frise, who predeceased her eighteen years ago. For the last fourteen years, Mrs. Frise has lived in Toronto, returning to Port Perry quite frequently to visit. relatives and friends. Mrs. Frise has always been deeply devoted to the church, taking a special interest in the Missionary cause. Since living in Toronto, she had become associated with the Mis- sionary Alliance Tabernacle which has greatly deepened and broadened her spiritual life. Mrs. Frise will ever be remembered as a lady of a quiet, retiring disposition, a lover of the beautiful in nature, good books, and high ideals.
