Mr, John Jeffrey has been visiting in Bowmanville ard other places, Rev. Charles J. Dobson passed away at his home in Toronto, on Saturday evening in his 86th year. Mr, Dobson was a former pastor of this village and was much beloved and respected. He is remembered by several of the older residerts. Sornberger, Utica: Obituaries Mary Ferguson Mary Fergusor, widow of the late Donald Ferguson, of Orillia, Ont., died at the Manse, Port Perry, on April 15th, in her 86th year. At the funeral service on Saturday, April 17th, at the MacDonald Funeral Home, Orillia, conducted by Rev. J., A. MacInnis, of' Orillia - Presbtyerian Church, Rev, T. A. Nind and Rev. W. J. H. Smyth, of Port Perry, kindly assisted. Friends were present from Port Perry, Cookstown, Bradford and Toronto, and Representatives of Ses- sion, Managers and W.M.S. of Burn's Church, Ashburn, together with. a number of acquaintances in ard about Orillia where 'the deceased had lived for a number of years. - Of a family 'of six children, three sons survive, Rev. D, A, Ferguson, | being the anly one in attendance, as the others are in the West, Interment was made in the family plot, Knox Church Cemetery, Oro, to which Church the deceased had gone as a girl, and where her father, Peter McArthur was an elder in the days of Gaelic services. Morley Campbell Morley Campbell was born in April 1868 at Ops, the son of John Calvin Campbell and Lydia Carswell, "At the age of 19 he went west and joined the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and was stationed at Regina and Battleford. In 1899 he enlisted with the Canadiar: Mounted Rifles for service in South Africa,. " After returning to Canada he was appointed Postmaster for Fort Saskat- chewan in 1902, which position he held until 1912 when, he came East and resided in Prince 'Albert and Port Perry. She came to Canada| fifty-two years ago, and settled in the Township of Cartwright. In 1895 she married James MacGregor of the Township of Fenelon, Later they moved to Cartwright and then to Port Perry. Deceased was a member of the Anglican Church in Ireland, ard in Blackstock.
