Members of the various Auxiliaries of Lindsay Presbyterial W.M.S. of the Presbyterian Church in Canada, met in St. John's Presbyterian Church, at Port Perry, on Thursday, October 13. The meeting was in charge of the President Mrs. G. A. Lucas, Lindsay. The meeting was opened by singing a hymn, The devotional periods were taken by Mrs. Wilkinson and Mrs, M, Moase, of Port Perry, and by Mrs. Milne and Miss Mildred Beaton, Wick. Reports of the auxiliaries showed there is a great interest being taken in the work. This Presbyterial held two Mission Band rallies, one at Lind- say and the other at Uxbridge. Miss Errey of Amkut, India, spoke and showed slides of her work in the hos- pital there. Both rallies were well at- tended and heartily enjoyed. There are splendid papers in the Ex- change Department, and we should try and make use of them. - Mrs. N. Wilkinson welcomed the delegates to St. John's Church. : Mrs. G. A. Lucas gave a splendid report of the Council and Provincial meetings. Mrs. Lucas emphasized that we need a live society at home or soon we will not be able to propagate our missionaries at home or abroad. Mrs. Ross of Beaverton, moved a vote of thanks to the hostesses of the church for their kind hospitality. This was seconded by Mrs, Wright. The meeting was brought to a close by singing a hymn and prayer.
