Lions Club Notes' Friday evening of last week was the regular meeting time for the Port Perry Lions. They had a special treat upon this occasion, as Rev. Russell Q'Brief, of Whitby, gave a graphic and highly entértaining picture of his trip to Trinadad, and his brief.stay on that Island. He is a master of the art of "deseription "and "transporied his hearers to those tropical conditions so thoroughly, that (as Mr. Gemmell put it when seconding the Vote-of thanks to Mr. 'O'Brien) there was danger of thé men walking out of the hotel with- out their overcoats -- however, they didn't. The travelogue, _although greatly condensed, was one of the raciest and most picturesque that has been given here.
