The quilts were donated to Cartwright Red.Cross and were made by the ladies of Purple Hill and Shirley School Sections, four from each, the Institute contributing the linings, ete. The branch also donated $5 to the Jr. Red Cross in each school to buy blankets for the Red Cross.
