Principal McClel- lan of the High School 1e- dorted 141 students on-the roll, and an average attend- ance of 186 in November. Mr. Lawrence, Chairman of the Property Committee, pointed out that many fine improvements have been made at the Schools, The Household Science Room has re-arranged according to the best and latest system, The Farm Mechanics building is now in excellent shape. The electrically controlled ma- chinery is paid for. An ad- ditional teacher has charge, and senior Public School boys are being taught this work. The girls take Household Science. . The typewriters are paid for that are used in the Commercial Class. Biblical instauction will be given in the Public School by Rev. Wm. Stocks and Rev. W. J. H, Smyth. Then when you are ready to __ shake the grates you simply turn on the spray which throws a fine mist over the entire ashpit. Thus the ashes are wet down as they fall through the grates and' the -dust- is - settled immediately, and kept inside the ashpit.
