Burnham and Miss Lois Jef- frey, on gardening, which was very amusing. It was decided to hold a lawn party at the home of Mr, and Mrs. Russell Carter on July 8th. A flower show was a new feature at the meeting. Mrs. Smith of Toronto, and Mrs. S. Reynolds of Seagrave were the judges. Mrs. C. Hardy won first prize a lovely dish for flowers; Mrs. R. Carter, second, a glass pie plate. Amang the visitors present were Mus. Smith of Toronto, Mrs. S. Reynolds, of Scopes e, Mrs. Gordon Jeffrey and Donna, Mrs. Ruddy, Mrs. -MeMillan and Mrs. J. Dowson and Donna, all of Port Perry. A lovely lunch was served on the lawn. All were sur- prised (o see so many men accept the invitation for supper, but they were made very welcome.
