The funeral of Sarah Aldred, wife of John Lansing, was held on Monday at Nestleton, Mrs. Lansing was born here 92 years ago, being the only sister of the late William Aldred. She married John Lansing of Caesarea, who was. called to his home beyond twenty-three years ago. Mrs. Lan- sing then moved to Saskatchewan to live with her daughter Emma. Two sons also survive, Russell-of Toronto, Nelson of London. Those from lere attending the funeral were Mr. and Mrs" Jonathan Aldred, Mr. and Mis. Joel- Aldred, Mr. and Mrs. G. Samélls, Mr. Walter Samells, Mr, and Mrs. W. Cresier. We extend sympathy to the bereaved relatives. Sympathy is extended to Mrs. Jos. Denny and family, in the death of Mr, Denny. The stone crusher is now working in Orr Jeffrey's pit, and trucks are hauling the gravel on the roads. Mr. H. Astridge, of Toronto, spent a few days with Mr. and Mrs. Joel Aldred, Sorry to report Mr. Chas. Pogue under the doctor's care. Sorry to hear of Miss Gertrude hunk being in Port Perry Hospital.
