THANK YOU! _ Terrace, B.C., July 26, 1042 Dear Mr. Farmer: Just a few lines to let you know and appreciate it a great. deal, It certainly is nice to read the news of Port Perry and vicinity. The only newspaper we get up here is the Van. couver Sun and it is always four days late. Terrace is a small village in the north of British Columbia. It is-in a valley surrounded by mountains. There are a few lakes near here and we 'often go fishing. We do catch some nice trout and afew salmon, There a good number of troops here and as it is a new camp, there is not as yet any entertainment for us, so we stay in camp a great deal, We are sleeping in tents up here and the nights get quite cool. The days are pretty much the same as in Ontario, but are much longer. . It does not get dark up here until around 11 o'clock and it is bright again around .|4 am. I will thank you again, Mr, Farmer, for your paper and I hope that some- day I.may be able to repay ye for your kindness. d _ Yours truly, Sigmn, A. MacMaster.
