Day, Port Perry, on Sunday, May 23rd, 1944. Deceased was born at Ashburn, Ont; on--Aprit-H th; 1858. In- March of _1880 she was married to the late James I. Horn, of Utica. Mr. and Mrs. Horn farmed at Utica until 1920, when they moved to Ash- burn. Mr. Horn died in 1932. Four years ago Mrs, Horn came to Port Perry to live with her daughter, being in failing health. She leaves to mourn her passing two daughters--Murs. Laivton, of Les- sier, Sask., and Mrs. Wm. Day, of Port Perry. Also one son, R. C. Horn, of Saskatoon, Sask. One son, Arthur, died in '1931. Interment was made at Ashburn, ---- ~ CHARLES TAYLOR Charles Taylor, beloved husband of the late Annie Elizabeth Stork, died at the Port Perry Hospital on 2nd June, 1043, in his 91st year. He was the eldest of a family of eight. A brother, Henry Taylor, of Toronto, and a sister Mrs. I. P. Wood, Boissevain, Man, both former residents of Greenbank, survive him; also are two sons, J. C. Taylor; Port Perry; and R. J. Taylor, of Brjghton, Ont. Another son, W. C. Taylor,who for thirty-eight years was with Cassidy's Limited, Toronto, Wholesale China and Cut Glass, pre- deceased him three years ago. Mr. Taylor came to Port Perry about the same time as did the late James Carnegie and the late William Willard, all having moved here from Raglan. For 'many years he operated the farm north of the town now occupied by Coulter Bros. During 'that time interesting rifle ranges were built on the property. While residing there he had as neighbours the late Dr. J. I. _Sangster, author - of a notable graves at Pine Grove Cemetery will be held on Friday evening, June 18th at 7 o'clock.
