Ward, of Brooklin, and Arnold | M. Byers, son of Mr. and Mrs, Mere- dith Ward, of Toronto. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Kenneth Jull, with Miss Barbara Smith playing the wedding music, and fifty guests in at- tendance. ' The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a gown of white bridal satin made with long bodice and full skirt in floor length, Her Venetian veil was caught together with orange blossoms and was finger length, and she carried a large bouquet of roses arranged in nosegay style with long white streamers. Her bridesmaid, Miss Grace Demara, wore a long gown of white sheer and carried a similar bouquet tied with pink streamers, Two little flower girls, Ruby Ward sister of the bride and Jean Byers, sister of the groom wore long white gowns made on similar lines to that of the bride, of brocaded white satin and ~ -- type. Mr. Lawrence Byers, brother of the groom, was best man and Mr. Graydon Byers and Mr, Comrie Ward were ushers, Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the bride's home with the bride's mother wearing a gown of rose sheer with large rose hat and corsage of red roses, and the groom's mother wore Alice blue crepe with white hat and corsage of pink roses. The lawn was beautifully ar- ranged with flowers and evergreens. A group of the bride's friends served the luncheon and were the fol- lowing: Helen Graham, Norma Chinn, Ialeen Harper, Doris Walker, Audrey Clarkson, Audrey Kerry, Willa Edger- ton and Mary Rosser, Willa Edgerton caught the bride's bouquet.
