Severson, of Vancouver, SLEIGHING PARTY Happy and smiling were the faces of fifty-seven young members of St. + John's Presbyterian Sunday School as they climbed into two large bob- sleighs on Monday afternoon after school for a good old-fashioned sleigh ride. Scated on piles of hay, in the sleighs provided through the kindness of Miss A. Henders, Mr. Brown and Mr. Wm. Wilson, the children enjoyed a brisk ride through the town and surrounding district. ~~ Later on, re- turning to the Sunday School room, heavy clothing was peeled off and cold toes and fingers being warmed, the children sat down to consume a hearty supper of soup and crackers, hot dogs and cocoa. The hot dogs especially "disappeared with amazing rapidity. Thus fortified, the children played a number of games, musical chairs be- ing the highlight of the evening. Sin- cere thanks is due to the teachers and members of the committee for organ- izing the party for the Sunday School members; and to the other ladies who assisted with the refreshments and entertainment.
