Mr. Muir, of Toronto, gave a short sermon, followed by pictures of Japan which were much enjoyed. We are variations in our services are bring- ing more out. We are privileged to hear a well prepared sermon every Sunday and we should realize it takes time and study to prepare a sermon. We feel sure Mr. Kaill will be well rewarded for his efforts. It is most discouraging to speak to empty pews. The Woman's Association January meeting was held last Thursday at the home of "Mrs, Frank Kendall, with-16 members present. Three "new mem- bers were. enrolled, enough to make the sixth group. It was decided to hold a bazaar early. next fall and our _| next meeting will be-in the Church basement when we will quilt two quilts. We are hoping the sick will all be better by then 80 we can have a good turnout. Ten members were present. The meeting began with the Open- ing Ode (sung 'to the tune of Auld Lang Syne). This was followed by the Lord's Prayer "Which was repeated in unison.
