Jack- son. i Mrs. Edgar Leask entertained 30 ladies of the Greenbank W.M.S. at her home on Thursday, Sept. 13th. Mr. and Mrs. Keith Hooey and Mrs. Percy Hooey are in London this week Ying Miss Norma owing Bovey. Dies Suddenly Mr. and Mrs. A. D. uy received 'word that their daughter-in-law died suddenly in Atlanta, Georgia. She was the wife of Mr. Burt Peters, only son of Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Peters, of Port Perry. Mrs. Peters was a Cana- dian, born at Tillsonburg, Ontario. Death occurred on Friday, Sept. 14th after a brief illness. Mr. and Mrs, Peters came to Port Perry quite often and Mrs. Peters will be remembered by many friends here. Mrs. Peters was a niember of the Eastern Star and- Mr, Peters is- Mason and now Bandmaster of the: Shrine Band of Atlanta. Sympathy is extended to the Peters family in their bereavement. RK al ite .
