There were two sections to the Conference. In the Blue Room ad- joining the Crystal Ball Room, 25 competitors from all parts of the Province took part in the public speaking competition. All compet- itors had taken part in County competitions, and were acclaimed winners in their respective coun- ties. Mrs. Catherine Martyn, -a member of the Port Perry Junior Institute, spoke on "A Blueprint for Happiness" in which she based her talk around the Sermon on the Mount, and quoted sections of the Bible to substantiate her state- ments.
